A Winter Weather Watch has been issued to Pa. Turnpike travelers regarding
weather forecasts from AccuWeather. Forecast to bring snowfall into the
Somerset/Allegheny belt on Interstate 76 between Donegal and Allegheny
Tunnel that may accumulate between three to six inches. Snow accumulations
of one to three inches will also impact the Beaver Valley Expressway I-376,
Greensburg Bypass Toll 66, Mon-Fayette Expressway Toll 43, I-576 Southern
Beltway. The remainder of the Pa. Turnpike I-76/276 and I-476 are predicted
to accumulate a coating to an inch or two by early Saturday morning. The
snow can be accompanied by wind gusts that can cause blowing snow to drift
and cause low visibilities in some of these areas. Very cold temps will
also accompany the snow.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike has issued a weather watch for motorists due to the forecast of snow tonight through Monday morning. Travelers need to keep alert and allow time to arrive safely. When travelers encounter changing weather conditions, or approach emergency workers on the roadway, please reduce your speed and keep alert. Motorists should stay alert for quickly changing weather conditions.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued to Pa. Turnpike travelers regarding weather forecasts from AccuWeather. Periodic snowfall will continue into the Somerset/Allegheny belt on Interstate 76 between Donegal and Bedford. Snow showers will also impact the Beaver Valley Expressway I-376 and portions of the Greensburg Bypass Toll 66 and Mon-Fayette Expressway Toll 43. The Northeast Pa. region of Interstate 476 will also expect some snow North of Interstate 78 Allentown area into Wednesday morning. The snow can be accompanied by stronger wind gusts that will cause blowing snow to drift and cause low visibility in some of these areas.
