Update: Winter Weather Advisory issued January 12 at 8:59PM EST expiring January 13 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Areas Affected: Greene; Westmoreland; Eastern Tucker; Fayette; Western Tucker; Indiana; Fayette Ridges; Westmoreland Ridges; Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston; Monongalia; Marion; Eastern Preston; Wetzel; Marshall; Garrett; Preston

* WHAT…Freezing rain and sleet changing to snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches and ice accumulation up to two tenths of an inch are expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Pennsylvania, western Maryland and northern and northern panhandle of West Virginia.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
