Update: Winter Weather Advisory issued January 8 at 12:46PM EST expiring January 9 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

Areas Affected: Brooke; Westmoreland; Greene; Fayette; Western Tucker; Tuscarawas; Harrison; Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston; Noble; Allegheny; Jefferson; Monongalia; Washington; Eastern Preston; Marion; Guernsey; Wetzel; Marshall; Garrett; Columbiana; Ohio; Belmont; Muskingum; Carroll; Hancock; Monroe; Eastern Tucker; Beaver; Westmoreland Ridges; Fayette Ridges; Coshocton; Preston

* WHAT…Light snow and freezing drizzle. Plan on slippery road

conditions. Additional snow accumulations of around an inch with

upwards of 3 more inches in the mountains.
* WHERE…Portions of southwest Pennsylvania, east central Ohio,

western Maryland and northern West Virginia including the

northern Panhandle.
* WHEN…Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for reduced visibilities at

times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will

cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered

roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
